Vodafone Wireless Prepaid Broadband
Thanks to Johnson Kee for this guest article.
Wireless Prepaid Broadband is a form of broadband that allows you to bring the World Wide Web with you where ever you go. Whether you’re a university student who’s on the move a lot and is a Facebook and Twitter addict, or a savvy entrepreneur who has to always be ready to reply to business deals, all you need is a USB Modem and a wireless prepaid broadband plan. One such plan is offered by Vodafone. At the end of the article, you’ll know about the benefits of using Vodafone’s wireless prepaid broadband.
Benefits of Prepaid vs Postpaid
So why prepaid? Life’s spontaneous and so is your daily Internet usage. Sometimes you’re just lazing about at home, waiting for someone to update their Facebook status. Other nights, you’re having a few friends over who take ownership of your computer and watch random videos on YouTube all night. The last thing you want is to regain ownership of your compute to find that you can’t access the Internet because you’re out of bandwidth credit. Even if you pay for certain amount and run out of credit, Vodafone Wireless Prepaid Broadband will allow you to easily and quickly top up so you can return to checking scores for the English Premier League football match.
The Internet in Your Pocket
And you can even forget about lugging around your laptop. If it’s just going to get in the way when you’re constantly on the move, then simply take your USB modem with you! With prepaid broadband, all you’re carrying is a USB that can connect you to the internet when you have access to a computer or laptop with the right software.
If you’re a city person and always have been, then you would know where you can always locate a computer.
Even if you live a bit further out in the country side, Vodafone’s 3G Mobile Broadband Zone ensures you to access the Internet in many places. If you get your hands on a wireless USB Modem before the end of 2009, you receive 1 gigabyte of free data yours to use however you please. $19, $29, $49, $100 and $150 recharges available with 500 mb, 1gb, 3 gb, 6 gb and 12 gbs to use respectively. Any unused credit is rolled over to the next period as long as you top up within the expiry period.
The current Vodafone deal includes a USB modem for only $99 with the 1GB deal!
If you’re always on the move or need the Internet at various times during the day, then Vodafone Wireless Prepaid Broadband will let you use your Internet virtually anywhere, anytime. All you need is your wireless USB modem and access to a computer. And it’s cheaper than ever before!

3 making sure they stay competitive in the prepaid wireless broadband market. There are lots of great deals available at the moment including some new ones from 3 and the return of a very popular past promotion!
The current three specials are:

Competition in the prepaid wireless broadband market is hotting up! The current Virgin wireless deal for a bons 1GB with a USB modem is impressive. But 3 broadband is fighting back with the return of a really strong offer they ran a couple of months ago.
The deal is for an E1553 USB Modem (3G of course) with 12GB of data, for only $199! It’s a significant 20% off the regular price of $249.
This deal was really popular the last time it was on. But it was such a good deal, we weren’t expecting it to be back any time soon. So if you missed out on it last time or are thinking about joining 3 wireless broadband, then now is a great time to do it!
The E1553 is a new model of modem, and by itself is usually $129 to buy outright. So for just a little bit extra you can get 12GB of data to use with your prepaid wireless broadband service. The great benefit of the 12GB plan from 3 is that it has an expiry period of 365 days. It’s the longest expiry period in the wireless broadband market by a long way.
This offer is for a limited time only – 3 hasn’t specified which day the offer is going to end – so pick one up before they run out of stock or end the offer.

Modems start at just $129 for the Prepaid E1553 USB key or are $149 for the E160 USB version. You can buy 12GB of data with a USB modem for only $249 and you have 365 days to use the credit!

3 has a great deal on at the moment – only $199 for an e160 USB Modem with 12GB of data! The data has 365 day expiry, which is by far the longest expiry period offered by any prepaid wireless provider. This deal is available online only.
3 usually sells this prepaid starter kit for $249 – and even at that price we rate it as one of the best prepaid wireless broadband deals available. So by knocking a further $50 off the price, it’s an unbelievable offer!
Because of the 365 day expiry on the prepaid credit, it’s a great deal if you are unsure how much data you are going to need. And because the 12GB data allowance is so high, it means you can use a lot when you need to and less when you don’t need to. Your credit won’t expire in low usage periods and you won’t be rushing off to the shops to recharge all the time when you’re using it a lot.
The E160 modem is PC and Mac compatible. The E160 sells for $129 by itself from most of the providers including 3 and Virgin. So for only $70 extra you can get 12GB of data with this deal! It’s a massive saving.
The deal is only available for a limited time. It ends on Wednesday 26th August 2009. So get in quick!
Vodafone are usually innovators and movers in the mobile phone and wireless broadband markets. But for some reasont hey have been decidedly slow to market with their prepaid wireless release. But it’s finally here! Vodafone has announced today that they are now selling prepaid wireless internet. And the deals are looking pretty good.
Details of Vodafone Prepaid Wireless
The “starter kit” with Vodafone Prepaid Wireless is deifnitely one of the best available. It is only $79 and comes with 1GB of data. 3’s modems are sometimes cheaper but you only get a small fraction of the data. Just remember though that the 1GB from Vodafone does expire after 30 days – so you’ll either need to recharge (up to a maximum of 5GB) or use it up quickly!
Vodafone offers several prepaid wireless recharge amounts. They are:
- $19 for 500MB
- $29 for 1GB
- $49 for 3GB
- $100 for 6GB
- $150 for 12GB
So the recharge value is really good when compared with other providers and the expiry time limits are excellent. Click here to Buy Now!
Vodafone has expiry of 30 days on their low recharge options which is standard in the industry. If you buy 6GB of data for $100 then you get 180 days expiry and if you buy 12GB for $150 you get 365 days expiry!
